Your Questions Answered

At Raabta Therapy, we understand that mental health is a vital aspect of life. We aim to provide clear answers to common questions about our services and psychotherapy in general, ensuring you feel informed and supported.

What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a treatment method that involves talking with a trained mental health professional. It helps individuals explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours to gain insight, cope with challenges, and improve overall mental health and well-being.

How do I book a session?

Booking a session with one of our qualified therapists is easy. Simply visit our website, navigate to the booking section and select a convenient time that suits you. Alternatively, you can click HERE, fill out the required details, and confirm your appointment. If you cannot find a time that works for you, please email us to inquire, and we will arrange a time that suits you best.

What types of therapy do you offer?

We offer a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, humanistic approach and psychodynamic therapy. Each approach is tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of our clients, ensuring effective support.

How does Insurance billing work?

We do not bill insurance companies directly at the moment. Clients are required to pay for sessions out-of-pocket. However, we will provide you with a detailed invoice which you can submit to your insurance provider for compensation. Please verify your insurance coverage with your provider before starting therapy.

Sliding Scale?

If you are not able to find a counselling plan that is financially feasible. Please email Raabta Therapy, and we can arrange something that works well for you. A sliding scale is available for individuals who qualify.
